Dan Saffer is an interaction designer in San Francisco. Millions of people every day use the products he's designed. Full disclosure: he is my boss, and he is an excellent one. From working with him, it's apparent that he enjoys what he does for a living. Part of why he appreciates his career is that he wandered in the desert before finding it.
